About Us
Who We Are
JoyeEcho was born in 2019, founded by a group of BJD doll enthusiasts including designers, face-up artists, and craftsmen. We were once like you, lingering outside the glass cabinets at doll exhibitions, sighing at collectibles priced in five figures—why should passion be measured by price?
Our team includes resin craftsmen who worked in high-end studios, independent artists specializing in doll makeup for a decade, and industrial designers skilled in structural design. But more than these titles, we cherish the identity of "BJD enthusiasts".
Why We Started
That summer of 2019, we posted a note on our studio wall: "If we can't afford it ourselves, what's the point of designing?" At that time, the average price of mainstream BJD dolls exceeded $1500, yet 60% of this cost came from brand premium and celebrity endorsements.
We decided to break this cycle: restoring the essence of collection through transparent cost structure. After three months of adjustments, the first JoyeEcho doll priced at $15 was born—$8 for premium resin + $3 for hand-painted face + $2 for joint accessories + $2 for reasonable profit.
Our Mission
JoyeEcho's mission is simple: to make it easy for everyone who loves dolls to own their dream collectibles. This isn't just a slogan—we're turning it into action:
Creating Possibilities for All Enthusiasts
- Student Community: Launching the "Youth Series" entry-level models, achieving four-figure quality at three-figure prices
- Customization Players: Opening full-process co-creation from makeup to clothing
- Collection Beginners: Offering "Alternative Series" with 1:1 reproduction of high-end doll craftsmanship
Spreading Joy Across Geographic Boundaries
Last winter, we launched the "Doll Circulation Program": For every doll sold, we donate a simplified version to children in underdeveloped areas. Through charity organizations, we've delivered over 3000 dolls to children in Southeast Asia, Africa, and South America.

If you also believe that "passion shouldn't have thresholds", now is the time to push open that once-closed glass door—we and the dolls are waiting for you.
